Setup a Graphtec plotter with SignCut |

Facts about the machine:

Before trying to get things working, determine the following:
- Decide what interface to use, and make sure to use the correct cables.
- If using USB, install the driver from the supplied CD.
- Check what baudrate the cutter is setup to use if using serial port.
- Set these settings on the machine: (Refer to manuals for different models)
- Language: HP-GL , Rotate: 90 , Unit: 0.025 mm
- Make sure the machine is powered on and in online-mode.
Now you are ready to go to setup SignCut, click the tab for your operating system above.
To setup SignCut for your machine, follow these steps:
- Open SignCut Productivity Pro.
- Click on the Cutter- button to open that dialogue.
- In the Manufacturer list, choose "Graphtec".
- In the Cutter list, choose your particular model.
- In the Device list, choose your device that should either be a LPT-port, COM-port, or "Graphtec USB" if using USB-cable. If you have installed a windows-printerdriver for your machine, then choose the printer-driver as device.
- Now choose the same baudrate as was set on the cutter, if using serial connection.
- There is an option to calibrate your cutter, do NOT click there before first cut. It is not needed for Graphtec-machines as they are very accurately calibrated from the factory.
- Now click Ok to close the dialogue.
- Now you are ready to start cutting.
To setup SignCut for your machine, follow these steps:
- Open SignCut Productivity Pro.
- Click on the Cutter-button to open that dialogue.
- In the Manufacturer list, choose "Graphtec".
- In the Cutter list, choose your particular model.
- In the Device list, choose your device that begins with "/dev/cu." if using a serial adapter, or choose "Graphtec USB" to use the USB-port.
- Now choose the same baudrate as was set on the cutter, if using serial.
- There is an option to calibrate your cutter, do NOT click there before first cut. It is not needed for Graphtec-machines as they are very accurately calibrated from the factory.
- Now click Ok to close the dialogue.
- Now you are ready to start cutting.
